The Glendale College Art Gallery welcomes Irene Tsatsos as guest curator for its next exhibition and 2008-9 season opener "The Whole World Is Watching", which begins with a reception from 4-7PM on September 20th and runs until November 8, 2008, just after election day.
"The Whole World is Watching" takes the form of historical echo, linking the tumultuous chronicle of the Democratic National Convention and presidential election of 1968 with the present day as well as with artworks in the exhibition. A run of 5,000 pamphlets commemorating specific events of 1968 will be available for free in the gallery to complement works in the show.
